We offer classes five days a week:
Mondays nights - Karate
Tuesday nights - Women’s Self-Defense
Wednesday nights - Women’s Self-Defense
Thursdays nights - Karate
Saturday mornings - Karate
Our tuition is set to make it accessible to you ($65/month per person or negotiable).
Ryuei Ryu is a traditional Okinawan Karate style. Ryuei Ryu was brought to USA in 1979 by Kyoshi Tomohiro Arashiro (8th Dan) from Okinawa. The Pan-American branch of Ryuei Ryu [Okinawa Ryuei Ryu Karate Kobudo (ORRKKO)] is headquartered in San Diego, California. In the USA, ORRKKO has dojos in California, Texas, and Washington. ORRKKO is directly affiliated with the main Ryuei Ryu organization, Ryuei Ryu Ryuhou Kai, in Okinawa, Japan.
Karate (空手) is a martial art that originates from Okinawa, Japan. Karate is a whole body training regimen that utilize the entire body. Karate is a way of life.
Kobudo (古武道) is an aspect of Ryuei Ryu which trains its practitioners in traditional Okinawan weapons including Bo (棒術), Sai (釵術), Kama (鎌術), and more.
We are the only official Ryuei Ryu dojo in the Pacific Northwest region. We are located in the Olympia/Lacey area.
We are affiliated with the Pan-American Ryuei Ryu organization ORRKKO and train under Tomohiro Arashiro Kyoshi.

Dj Sempai has practiced Ryuei Ryu for over 20 years. Satoshi Sempai is Dj Sempai’s first student to attain his black belt. They are committed to Ryuei Ryu as well as karate as a whole and look forward to sharing their passion with you.
